About Shakati Private Game Reserve
We offer:Affordable quality stays in private safari lodge (self catering chalets) in our beautiful game reserve located in the heart of the Waterberg Biosphere reserve only 2½ hours from JNB and only 10 minutes drive to the little town Vaalwater.
We boast:
· Small, comfortable private safari lodge with 3 self-catering chalets: 2 bedrooms, lounge w. TV, + 2 beds, kitchen, bathroom, verandah, private braai area (max 6 persons per chalet)

· Free, comprehensive self-drive tour package with suggestions and driving instructions to nearby places like Marakele National Park, Pedi Potters, Melkrivier Rhino and Biosphere Museum, cheese farm, vegetable/biltong producers etc.
· Location: 20 km outside Vaalwater on the new Vaalwater-Lephalale/Ellisras- road (R33)

Rates
· Chalet: R190 adults, R 80 for children 7-12 years old,
· Maximum per night per chalet R760,
· Whole camp R 2,000 per night
· Minimum stay of two nights over weekends,
· Mid-week specials (Mondays to Thursdays):
· Pay for 3 nights, stay 4 nights.
· Includes free access to lodge complex and the reserve
