2 Cottons Cottage This delightful ”Olde Worlde” fisherman’s cottage is well situated, with breathtaking sea views. Watch sunrise and moonrise over the sea. Walking distance to our own Long Beach. The cottage is self-catering, with two comfortable bedrooms (both en-suite) and a bright sunny, renovated "live-in kitchen with all modern conveniences. Sit and relax on the verandah and watch all the navy action in the harbour, or watch the whales (Sept - Oct) from your own uninterupted vantage point. There is an abundance of birdlife, hiking, kayaking, diving, fishing, bowls and golf. Our cottage fully equipped with Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and iron. All bedding and towels are supplied.
If you can tear yourself away from the peace and quiet of the surroundings, you can also explore the delightful historical villages of Simon's Town and Kalk Bay with their book and antique shops with treasures for everybody, young and old. The Naval and Toy Museums will both take you back to yesteryear.
3 Cottons Cottage
This delightfully renovated - four bedroomed cottage lends itself to the family holiday or two family holiday. Lots of space light and easy, comfortable living with all the modern conveniences needed for a relaxed fuss-free holiday.
Situated on the side of Red Hill and overlooking False bay and Simon's Town naval harbour, the cottage lends itself to family lifestyle with ample room for entertaining.
One enters from the back of the cottage, off the street, into your own private courtyard.
Coming into the spacious, cool open plan lounge dining room area with built-in breakfast bar, this beautifully equipped and fitted kitchen has a gas hob, electric under counter oven, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer, plus the normal toaster, kettle and microwave oven.
The diningroom table seats six comfortably and there is a second table and two benches seating another six, ideal for outside meals while soaking in the magnificent views from the verandah.
There are four spacious bedroom. The two main double bedrooms are separated from the third and fourth bedrooms by the living room. The main bedroom has ample built in cupboards and French doors to the garden.
The second bedroom also has full built in cupboards and large sash windows looking out onto the garden with lovely sea views.
Over the passage is a large full bathroom with bath, shower and toilet.
The other two bedrooms each have twin beds and share a large bathroom with a large shower and toilet.
One is within short walking distance of one of our many lovely beaches and the historic village of Simon's town holds a whole host of wonderful thing to explore with museums, a famous penguin colony, a "scratch patch" with a fascinating selection of semi-precious stones. Or one can just enjoy the peace and tranquillity and be entertained by the constant activity of boats in the bay.

2 Cottons Cottage
The cottage is priced from R700 per day, special rates are negotiable on long term leases.
3 Cottons Cottage
The cottage is let as a unit which sleeps eight comfortably. There are four bedrooms, two double and two twin. There is a minimum cost per night for the cottage of R1 000.
