About Sunbird Lodge
Sunbird Lodge is a family run business, emphasising on good quality & friendly service. Experience the ambiance of more than 2.5 acres of tropical gardens which give host to a wide variety of bird life, just relax and let your hosts Samantha and David Lockhart ensure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Laze by the swimming pool, sit under one of our Lapa’s with a drink from the bar or take in the gardens at night looking at the stars, you can just unwind and let your stress melt away.
Accommodation is either on a Bed & Breakfast or Self Catering Basis.
We have 5 twin/double rooms on the main house all with their own private access. There are 2 delightful twin bedded rooms by the swimming pool plus 1 fully contained self catering cottage which can sleep up to 6 people. All our rooms are spacious, have en suite bathrooms, are air conditioned and have ceiling fans for those long hot summer nights and have tea/coffee making facilities. Dinner and lunches can be arranged by request.
We can offer you a good sized swimming pool, excellent braai facilities, a unique African bar, secure off street car parking, laundry services, airport transfers from Phalaborwa airport, internet and email facilities (we are WIFI enabled), fax, communal DSTV and plenty of help and advise on what there is to do and see in this wonderful region of South Africa
