About Kololo Game Reserve

Kololo Game Reserve is situated in the beautiful province of Limpopo, South Africa, in the heart of the Waterberg biosphere. Vast, peaceful and incredibly beautiful, this is a fascinating destination with a rich cultural legacy and a natural splendour. A malaria-free area and home to a large variety of game, Kololo is a perfect safari destination. Visit neighbouring reserves and view the Big 5 - lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo, or enjoy a sneak preview over the fence, from the comfort of your chalet at Kololo.

The Kololo Game Reserve Chalets

Garden Chalets: Situated on beautiful lawns and surrounded by acacia trees are the three Garden Chalets, each with a small kitchen and a private bathroom. The garden chalet sleeps two

Bush Chalet: The Bush Chalet is hidden in the lush African bush. It sleeps two, has a small kitchen and an ensuite bathroom. The bush chalet sleeps two.

King's and Queen's Chalets: Set against the Kololo mountains, the King's and Queen's Chalets are the most luxurious of the lodge. Both King’s chalet and Queens’s chalet have a very nice veranda and King’s chalet has a private swimming pool. Queen’s chalet sleeps two and King’s chalet sleeps six

Leopard's Den Chalet: This beautiful family chalet with four bedrooms has a stunning view overlooking the rolling green lawns and the Kololo Mountains. The chalet has a large veranda and a private swimming pool. Leopard’s Den chalet sleeps eight (one bunk bed).

Oom Piet's Chalet: Oom Piet's Chalet is the original restored farm house, built in 1916 by Oom Piet. The chalet has a nice veranda overlooking the neighbouring big five game reserve, a cozy living room, a large kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms making this chalet perfect for a small family.

River Chalet: Situated within close proximity to the swimming pool and restaurant, overlooking the Kololo river and the neighbouring big five game reserve. The river chalet sleeps two and has a small kitchen and an ensuite bathroom.

Rates from R 400 sharing on self catering basis to R 950 sharing full board basis.

We can cater as a private venue and also great facilities for weddings, conferencing, team building etc.
