About Dwarsvlei Farm
Beautiful working Karoo farm situated close to the N9 to Graaff Reinet. Lovely landscape, mountains and streams. Historic homestead which was completed in 1910 by one of the randlords of the time, Henry Nourse. The farm then was the biggest stud farm in the world and produced a number of winners, even July winners. The house was built mainly to entertain the British Officers who were stationed in the area after the Boer War. On the farm you will find Kudu, Gemsbuck,Blesbuck and Springbuck.
The farm is mainly used for Merino sheep and Angora goats. Lovely garden setting with pool and a number of vantage points for sunsets and sunrises.
On the farm we also do Photographic and Art workshops,these are by arrangements. Stunning venue for intimate weddings or teambuilding workshops for corporate companies.

Rates
R260 per person sharing in and out of season. Rates are valid till January 2011. The rates include breakfast.
