About Prince Alfred Street Backpackers

This small, intimate and very comfortable gay friendly "Boutique" backpackers situated in a lovely 100 year old victorian house set in an inner city garden oasis is right around the corner from all the cross country bus stops and 10 mins walk from the centre of the city. Spend your day drifting around the city. Visit the Tatham Art Gallery, the Natal Museum or laze the day away in the Botanic gardens. Return to a fine dinner under the chandelier and then retire to your private double or twin room, stretch out between clean sheets and fashion dreams for the days to come.

Rates

All our rooms are private twins, doubles and doubles en-suite. We charge per person so that people travelling on their own pay no more than anyone else and have a room to themselves. Twins and doubles are R95 pp and double en-suite is R120 pp.
